New Year’s Eve miniature art doll on vintage repurposed repainted clock
Happy New Year! ✨✨✨
This is a one of a kind mixed media miniature art doll piece that I created to celebrate the new year ahead!
I love vintage style especially 1920’s fashion and art deco design so I repurposed an old alarm clock (does not work) and repainted it to mimic a vintage art deco style clock using black and gold paints and a vintage button.
SIZE:
About 6 1/2 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches wide.
I sculpted her face using paperclay. I do not use molds so every face is unique and one of a kind. I then painted her features to bring her to life!
Her body is made by creating a wire armature and wrapping it with string and cotton to form the shape.
She is adorned in vintage lace and metallic fabric and trimmed with metallic bits and German glass glitter.
She is tooting a horn made of paper and tinsel and also holds a firecracker party favor trimmed with various tinsels. She is also holding a tiny masquerade mask made from painted paper.
She is permanently mounted on the clock and cannot be removed.
Thank you for your support!
I hope you have a magical year and all your dreams come true!
